Her gaze is often hard, sometimes more than intended thanks to the scar running over her right eye. She can seem a bit judgemental when those mixed orbs are inspecting someone for the first time, but it suits well for one looking to keep their relationships at arms-length and business contacts professional. Acilia is often quiet and watchful around others, careful and concise with her words. She finds it hard to socialize, too used to keeping a low profile and avoiding notice from her time secluded in enemy territory during the war.

Acilia rarely travels without a long rifle or gunblade, frequently practicing her reflexes and aim. She can often be found salvaging electronics for use or sale. While well-versed in the use and maintenance of machinery, Garlean and Allagan alike, it is not Acilia's focus or passion.

Medical research is where her talents truly lie. Acilia is able to find work as a chirurgeon and frequents alchemic and botany supply chains during her travels, purchasing bulk supplies for some unknown purpose.

Acilia's background might not be hard to discover with enough digging and intel. Her time with the XIIth Imperial Legion brought her much experience within Doma, giving her a wide knowledge of the cultures therein. Despite her martial skills, strength and competency in leading small squads, her superiors would eventually cede to her transfer requests for a spot within the research division of her legion, allowing her to work on various projects that saw her transferred to the western front of Ala Mhigo.Her interests and drive would bring her under the command of Aulus mal Asina, one who shared her desire to find a way to change the Garlean people at their very core, to eliminate their single weakness: their blindness to aether and the ways to control it.Acilia sees her research as a mission of survival. She knows the history of her people, how the Garleans were once made refugees thanks to prejudice and their inability to manipulate aether. Acilia is proficient in use of magitek, but she doesn't believe it is enough to secure a future for her countrymen, having witness the destruction of so many of the forward Legions and then the destruction of the nation of Garlemald itself.

To this day, Acilia seeks a way to grant the Garlean race the ability to manipulate and control aether. She has lost contact with those of her old legion and many of her fellow researchers, but she's determined to continue her work on her "Project Venus." Now she must find more ways to fund her research and build from her experiments to secure the future of the Garlean race.She hid her true identity as best she could while working abroad after her legion's fall, managing underground contacts and always cautious to the possibility she would be uncovered by one of Eorzea's Grand Companies. Though the danger has decreased and there are more regions she's comfortable being open about her identify, she's still a fairly private person.

Once a lone agent operating abroad, Acilia has interests in reconnecting with any remaining command structure in her homeland, as well as helping other wayward kin find what they need, There is no longer an Empire to serve, but duty to her countrymen remains.A Contact in the Past...

Acilia has been stationed in Doma and Ala Mhigo during her time in the XIIth Legion. She's served as a frontline Medicus, she's led squads and would eventually be promoted to the research arm of the legion with some limited travel for resource gathering.Missing in Action

Acilia spent time hiding after the fall of the XIIth Legion, escaping to the south and sneaking refuge in Ul'dah. She established a safehouse worked to rebuild through black-market contacts. She's largely undercover at this time and using disguises more frequently.
